Montessori Children's Garden

Cecilia Smith earned her Montessori credentials from Association Montessori Internationale in May 2002 from Head Instructor Nimal Vaz, Montessori Center School.

   Montessori Children’s Garden was established in 2005 with the assistance of colleague Donna Breault.  The staff is skilled, dedicated and experienced in Montessori education. 

Purpose & Mission

To prepare an environment that is responsive to the child's needs and tendencies at each stage of development.To stimulate the child's natural curiosity and to prepare him or her to become an independent, self-reliant and compassionate human being.

 To prepare the children for all aspects of life, intellectually, socially, physically and emotionally by engaging them in the daily rituals of living within a community through the dynamic partnership of child, parent, and teacher.To offer an impeccable curriculum including math and geometry, global cultural studies, language, geography, art, gardening and practical life skills.

Vision

To enhance the lives of children through a peaceful, Montessori-

guided education where children gain appreciation and respect for

themselves, nature, art, humanity, and the community in which

they live.
